Our Pre-Vocational Training programme introduces students to practical life skills and work-oriented activities that build confidence, responsibility, creativity, and readiness for vocational education and future employment.
Learning Through Practice
Pre-Vocational Training is designed to help students, especially Children with Special Needs (CWSN), discover their interests and abilities through structured, hands-on learning experiences.
Students participate in simple vocational activities, daily living skills, creative projects, and teamwork exercises that improve coordination, communication, problem-solving, and self-confidence.
The programme serves as a bridge between classroom learning and vocational education, preparing learners for independent living, further skill development, and meaningful participation in society.
Key Learning Areas
Craft & Creative Skills
Paper crafts, drawing, painting, greeting card making, decoration and creative art activities.
Basic Stitching
Introduction to stitching, fabric handling, button fixing, hand sewing and simple tailoring.
Daily Living Skills
Personal hygiene, kitchen safety, table setting, cleanliness, organization and self-care.
Gardening
Plantation, watering, plant care and developing responsibility through nature.
Computer Awareness
Basic computer usage, typing practice and digital literacy for everyday life.
Social & Communication Skills
Teamwork, communication, confidence building and workplace behaviour.
