On 15th October 2017 Renu Vidya Mandir has participated in Women of India 2017 Award at Meri Delhi Utsav New Delhi. Our Hon’ble Director Smt. Dhwani Gupta has awarded for “Women of India 2017” by Smt. Arpita Bansal, Founder Muskaan K.K. Charitable Trust, New Delhi. Our CWSN has performed various cultural programs.

Participations
Participation in Exhibition-cum-Sale of handicraft items at “Dilli Haat”. This Exhibition-cum-Sale organized by National Trust from 23.09.2008 to 06.10.2008 for promotion and sale of Handicraft items prepared by students with disabilities.
The 24 Students with Special Needs of our institution were participated in the District Level Sports Competition at Sonepat in January, 2009. 09 students with special needs of our institution won first prize, 05 students won second prize, 05 students won third prize and 10 students got consolation prize and 1st Prize in Cultural Program.
A workshop on “Teaching Autistic Children” was organized at DISHA, Sirsa from 19.09.2009 to 21.09.2009 and the principal of our institution have participated in this workshop.
The 05 Students with Special Needs have participated in State Level Sports Competition held in Karnal in 2010. This competition was organized by SSA Haryana. The 5 participants of our institution were participated and won 05 first prizes, 01 second prize and 01 third prize.
The principal and two other teachers have attended the workshop on “Problems facing in Starting the Inclusive School” at Peace Foundation I.T.O. New Delhi on 03.08.2010.
The three teachers of our institution have participated in a seminar on “Sex Problem and Employment of Persons with Mental Retardation” at Ruchi Special School, Sonepat on 06.08.2010.
The Students with Special Needs have visited to Moti Lal Neharu Sports School, Rai (Sonepat) on 21.08.2010. All the students were enjoyed the Hockey Match between the students of Miti Lal Neharu Sports School, Rai (Sonepat) Vs Students from England.
The 37 Students with Special Needs of our institution were participated in the Block Level Sports Competition of SSA, Rai on 15 February, 2011. Our 10 students won first prize, 14 students won second prize, 06 students won third prize and 1st Prize in Cultural Program.
The 16 Students with Special Needs of our institution were participated in the State Level Sports Competition of SSA held at Kurukshtra on 26-27 February, 2011.
Mr. Jasbir Singh, Teacher of our institute participated in the Master Trainer Course in Special Olympics. A five days (from 8th August, 2011 to 12th August, 2011) training programme conducted by the Special Olympics Bharat at Luxmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior (M.P.).
The 42 Students with Special Needs of our institution participated in the Block Level Sports Competition of SSA, Rai on 27.09. 2011. All the students of our institution showed outstanding performance in all the sports activities.
The 15 Students with Special Needs participated in the Ability Utsav a Talent Show at YMCA New Delhi, Nizamuddin from 17.11.2011 & 18.11.2011. Our students participated in Cooking, Flower Arrangement, Singing, Grooming and Dance Competitions and showed outstanding performance.
The four students with special needs and one special educator participated in the National Coaching Camp of Basket Ball and Volley Ball from 07.12.2011 to 13.12.2011 in Barelly (UP). This camp was organized by the Special Olympics Bharat, Uttar Pradesh.
The 09 Students with Special Needs and 02 special coaches of our institution had participated in the National Coaching Camp for athletics. This camp was organized by the National Office of Special Olympics Bharat at Doon School, Dehradun, Uttrakhand from 7th January, 2012 to 13th January, 2012. In this camp the training has been given by the National Coaches and all the special athletes have learnt the sports skills from the National Sports Experts.
The two days Community Coaches Training Programme has been conducted on 3rd and 4th February, 2012 in the institution. This programme was sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. Under a scheme of Sports and Games for the Disabled with the technical help of Special Olympics Bharat, Paralympics Committee of India and All India Sports Council of the Deaf. There were 58 candidates who have successfully completed the training.
The 05 special athletes and one coach from our institution have been participated in the National Coaching Camp for athletics. This camp was organized by the National Office of Special Olympics Bharat at Agra, Uttar Pradesh from 13th February, 2012 to 19th February, 2012. In this camp the training has been given by the National Coaches and all the special athletes have learnt the sports skills from the National Experts.
Our institution conducted a District Level Sports meet for the children with special needs on 5th & 6th March, 2012 at the Northern Regional Centre of Sports Authority of India, Sonepat. This sports meet was sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India and with technical help of Special Olympics Bharat.
The 13 teachers from our institution participated in the community coaches training programme Level II organized by MYAS to enhance their knowledge about sports for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) on 2nd & 3rd April,2013.
The first documentary film was featured at D.D. National channel alongside an interview with the founder and President of Renu Vidya Mandir, Mr Nanak Chand Gupta on 29th July,2013.
Ms. Priya Grover, a primary teacher of our institution was awarded “Best Teacher” by Rotary Club, Sonepat on Teacher’s day 5/09/2014. It was overwhelming to learn that she was selected among the many teachers from Sonepat who have also performed well in their respective schools.
On 17th September 2015 Renu Vidya Mandir and Abhiyan Foundation, Sonepat has jointly organized a Blood Donation Camp under the guidance and support of Civil Hospital Sonepat. More than 100 people has donated their blood for the social cause.
On 7th August 2017 Renu Vidya Mandir’s Staff Members and Management has visited to meet Hon’ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji and Hon’ble Governor of Haryana Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki and Hon’ble State Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of Haryana Shri Krishan Kumar Bedi on the occasion of Rakshabandhan for the Greetings of Rakhi by our Children with Special Needs.
The institution has participated in 1st Zonal Level Sports Meet on 29 – 30 October, 2018 held at NIT Kurukshetra (Haryana)
